Our name's are Adwoa, Silvio and Maddie. We're just three high school seniors who are wanting to make a change in this world. This website revolves around our action project that adresses the important issue of racism and discrimination-stereotypes within the fashion industry. We want to spread awareness on these issues within our school community, and then hopefully, worldwide. This is where "True Colours" and the "#SeeInColour" movement began. People let racism and discrimination to continue and we've noticed that there is more affect towards the people when it is displayed in media. Specifically, the fashion industry. The fashion industry has a huge influence on the teen population and it is has risen various reports on racial stereotypes and body image insecurities. We wanted to take all this and provide a change for it. We want to be the agents for change and awareness and let teens know that they do not need to conform to society's definition of "normal." We are all beautiful in whatever colour skin and body figure. It all starts with one small act, so this is ours. Welcome to True Colours.
